Shotgun

Shotgun is shot every Saturday morning, commencing 8:00am. A BBQ is held at the conclusion of the match the first Saturday of each month.

This calendar is subject to changes as listed on the Club Notice board at the foot of the ramp to the Range. Open Competitions Working Bees and other Club approved activities take precedence over this calendar a nd will be listed on the Notice Board.

Other ranges may be used for practice if not required for the designated match as listed on the Club calendar. Open shoots and Club calendar matches take precedence over practice for Range usage.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS AND GUESTS

ALL SHOOTERS From the 1st. January.2010.

The new Standing Orders of the Metropolitan Pistol Club MUST BE ADHERED TO. 

There will be NO SHOOTING on Range 6 while people are in or on Range 5 area.

There will be NO ADMITTANCE to Range 5 when Range 6 is OPEN for shooting.

There will be NO ADMITTANCE to Range 5 when shooting is in progress on the LEFT HALF of Range 3.

The LEFT HALF of Range 3 is CLOSED when Range 5 is OPEN for SHOOTING.

Ranges 2 and 3 must CEASE FIRE while Range 1 RED STROBE Light is ON [flashing] and shooters are forward of the 50 meter target line. When Range 1 Range Officer/Operator calls a Cease Fire and declares the range SAFE to allow shooters or anyone forward of the 50 meter target line, he/she must FIRST switch RED STROBE Light ON [flashing] (switch is under the light) and ensure Ranges 2 and 3 are notified and observe such Cease Fire Conditions before allowing personal forward of the 50 meter target line.

Range 1 access past the 50 meter target line IS CLOSED when shooting is in progress on Ranges 2 and 3.

There is NO SHOOTING ALLOWED on LEFT SIDE of Range 6 on ANY Saturday morning before 12 Noon OBSERVE CLUB ROLLING CALENDAR FOR ALL SHOOTING OPTIONS Any Shooting on Range 1 must be conducted in co-operation with City of Brisbane Pistol Club Range 7.

NO shooting on Range 1 forward of the 50 m target line outside of organised Club Competitions.

STANDING ORDERS copy may be found and read in Club house and target room.
