FOR  UNLICENCED PEOPLE (handguns or longarms):
  • Download and complete form QP515 Application for Statement of Eligibility from the QPS website, or from a police station. This form is to ensure you are a fit and proper person to hold a licence. Submit your completed application to police at a police station, along with 100 points of identification.
  • When a Statement of Eligibility or ‘Form 36’ is received back from the police to you, you may now apply to join Metropolitan Pistol Club, along with two written references from people you have known for more than two (2) years (must be stated in the reference and cannot be a family member)
  • Once approved by the Executive, you will get a letter inviting you to join with an amount to pay for membership fees on a pro rata basis and a joining fee.
  • Once this amount is paid you will be given a membership number and photo ID.
  • Once you are a member you will then need to attend and complete a Club Induction.
  • An induction must be completed before shooting on MPC ranges. Inductions are held in the Training Room on the first Saturday of every month at 12:00pm sharp.
